The Papua New Guinea Rugby Football League (PNGRFL) has extended the deadline from April 30, 2019 for all current and intending Rugby League Associations in PNG who wish to affiliate by another month.
PNGRFL CEO Reatau Rau said due to an urgent request from the four Confederates, the deadline for all player and league registrations and affiliations will now close on Friday May 31, 2019.
“The registration fee is K50 per player/official of which K20 is for insurance and K30 for administration and the affiliation fee is K500 per rugby league association. “These payments must be deposited directly to the PNGRFL Inc. Insurance Admin Account No. 7011593956, BSP Port Moresby by May 31, 2019,” Rau said. Rau urged the leagues not to wait until the May 31st deadline if their registration and affiliations are in order.
He said registrations and affiliation books must be sent in weekly as done starting this Friday May 3rd, 2019 and onwards so that the accounts are reconciled.
“Please send the books and registration deposits as they are completed each Friday starting this Friday May 3, 2019 so that accounts are reconciled and updated progressively weekly until June 7, 2019,” Rau said.
“We need these books and bank deposits weekly so that the Insurance requirements set by the PNG Health Assurance (PHA) are strictly met and adhered to and you can start your competitions,” Rau said. “This is very important.”
These books must be sent weekly to: PNGRFL PO Box 1845, Boroko, NCD or hand delivered to the PNGRFL Office, Suite 1, National Football Stadium, Laurabada Avenue, Boroko, NCD each week and no later than closing date of Friday June 7, 2019.
